Faith-Forming Materials, Thoughtfully Designed

Serving Your Church’s Year with Intention
Cheerful by Rickhanie exists to support churches in forming meaningful lives—through the materials, moments, and experiences that accompany everyday faith.
Across a year, churches carry many responsibilities: gatherings, programmes, care for members, and moments of spiritual significance.
Often, what is prepared for these moments is shaped by time constraints, availability, or budget considerations.
Our role is not to replace what you already do, but to come alongside—helping ensure that what is given, used, and experienced carries a clearer sense of purpose, continuity, and care.
The Reality Many Churches Navigate
Across a year, churches prepare for many meaningful moments—gatherings, milestones, care for members, and seasons of spiritual significance.
What supports these moments is often sourced along the way.
Materials are sourced separately for each programme
Different suppliers are engaged at different times
Decisions are often made close to the event itself
Items fulfil function, but may not always carry a cohesive direction
As a result, each programme may be well-intended on its own, yet disconnected from what came before or what follows.
This is not a matter of neglect, but of capacity.
When many responsibilities are carried at once, meaning and continuity are often the first things to give way.
A Different Way to Look at What We Give
Over time, I began noticing something subtle about many items commonly used in church settings.
They often carry the right language—scripture verses, familiar phrases, or symbols of faith. They are appropriate, usable, and readily available.
Yet behind many of these items, the intent of their creation is not always rooted in the same convictions they represent. They are produced because there is demand, and because certain formats are known to sell within Christian communities.
This does not make them wrong. But it does mean that what is given can sometimes remain at the level of function—fitting a budget, fulfilling a need for an occasion—without necessarily carrying deeper thought about how it shapes the person receiving it.
This gradually creates a quiet gap.
Not in sincerity, but in alignment—between what a church desires to form in its people, and what is actually placed into their hands.

Cheerful Ministry Partnership
If what is given carries weight, it should be considered earlier within the life and rhythm of the church itself, not only at the point of purchase. This partnership is a way of stewarding that more intentionally across the year.
Rather than selecting items based only on availability or immediate need, we take time to understand your church's direction, key moments, and the people you are serving. Materials are then considered in context—what is being formed or reinforced, and what each occasion is meant to carry.
In some instances, what is most appropriate may already exist. In others, it may require adaptation or more intentional custom development.
Where sourcing is involved, care is taken to ensure that what is provided is fairly and responsibly priced. If your team has seen a similar item elsewhere at a lower cost, you are welcome to bring it into the conversation.
Where appropriate, we can:
align the pricing if the specifications are comparable, or
adjust materials or finishing to meet your budget, or
clarify where differences in cost are due to quality, material, etc
The goal is not to compete on price, but to allow decisions to be made transparently—so that what is chosen is not only prudent in terms of budget, but also aligned with the purpose it is meant to serve.
How the Partnership Works
The partnership is not built around a single purchase, but around how your church carries its programmes across the year.
Most churches already have a rhythm—new year's theme release, birthday blessings for members, welcoming packs for newcomers, events, gatherings, and moments that matter. What often becomes difficult is not the intent, but having the space to prepare each one thoughtfully.
Cheerful steps in within that rhythm.
Sometimes this begins with a single programme—supporting what is needed for that occasion. As we continue working together, there is a growing understanding of your church's calendar, direction, and the people you are serving.
From there, preparation becomes less reactive.
Instead of sourcing at the last minute, there is space to consider what each programme is meant to carry, and what would best support it—whether through existing items or something more tailored.
The aim is not to change how your church operates, but to make each step lighter, clearer, and more intentional as the year unfolds.
Partnership Structure & Levels
Churches typically allocate budgets across different programmes throughout the year.
This partnership is designed to work within that existing rhythm.
You may begin by engaging Cheerful for individual programmes or ministry needs, without committing a full-year amount upfront.
As Cheerful supports more of your programmes across the year, the level of partnership progresses naturally and is recognised based on cumulative engagement across a 12-month period.
With greater engagement comes greater continuity—allowing planning to happen earlier, decisions to be made with more clarity, and materials to be prepared with stronger alignment across your church calendar.
As our partnership grows, additional support, coordination, more tailored customisation, and bulk pricing advantages are extended—reflecting a deeper level of working relationship.
This allows your church to begin simply, while benefiting more fully as the partnership develops over time.

Inspiration: Custom Gifts Designed for Church-Wide Care
Across the year, many churches prepare in advance for recurring moments—welcoming newcomers, marking milestones, and caring for members in consistent ways.
For these ongoing needs, materials are often more helpful when they are prepared ahead—ready to be used, stored, and distributed as needed.
Cheerful supports this through custom bulk orders that are shaped around your church's context, frequency of use, and intended purpose.
Where appropriate, items can also carry your church's name or identity—so what is given feels not only suitable, but recognisably part of your community.
This allows care to be extended consistently across the year, without needing to re-source or re-decide each time.

Inspiration: Meaningful Ready Gifts for Church Life & Community Care
Not every moment can be prepared in advance.
Some arise within the flow of church life—when someone visits for the first time, when encouragement is needed, or when a quiet act of care becomes appropriate.
For these moments, having simple and thoughtful items readily available can make a difference.
This collection brings together ready-stock pieces that can be used as needed—without prior planning, yet still carrying intention.
Each item is selected to support everyday ministry moments, where a small gesture can help someone feel seen, known, and remembered within the life of the church.

A Year-Long Companion for Faith Formation
Not random Scripture cards, but a thoughtfully designed twelve-month journey that quietly supports the spiritual life of each member.
More than a one-time encouragement, this gift accompanies a person through the rhythms of daily life—offering steady anchors in moments where pastoral care cannot always be physically present.
Suitable as a birthday blessing, or as part of member care, newcomer welcome, or baptism gifting.
Gift Specification
Each pack contains two premium cards, together carrying twelve monthly anchors for the year.
Each month includes:
a short anchor statement
a selected Scripture
a simple reflective line
Sized to be kept close in a wallet or purse, behind a phone cover, on a desk or bedside, and in a car. Minimal in form, yet designed for depth—through repeated returning, quiet reflection, and daily encounter.
A Prayerfully Structured Journey
Each month transitions intentionally into the next, forming a natural progression that supports spiritual grounding and growth over time.
Without pressure or complexity, members are guided into a steady deepening of faith across the year.

A Faithful Companion for Daily Devotion
Some of the most meaningful moments of faith happen quietly—in the pauses between responsibilities, in the stillness of a personal prayer, in the ordinary act of sitting with a cup in hand.
These coasters are designed to live within those moments, as gentle declarations that bring the heart back to God—again and again, through daily life.
Suitable for new believers, or as part of devotional encouragement, baptism gifting, or member care.
Gift Specification
Each set contains three ceramic coasters, each carrying a simple declaration:
Thank You for this daily cup
Your word is like honey on my lips
Fill me with Your living water
Simple in form, yet intentional in placement—designed to sit naturally within moments of quiet, reflection, or personal devotion.
Forming a Rhythm of Returning
Through repeated use, these declarations begin to shape a person's inner posture:
gratitude in the everyday ordinary
attentiveness to God's word
dependence on His presence
Especially for new believers, they offer a gentle starting point, helping form a daily habit of coming before God without pressure or complexity.

An Expression of Love Through Obedience
There are moments in a believer's life when faith becomes a decision.
A turning away from what was. A choosing of what is now true.
In these moments, obedience becomes a response of love, no longer obligation.
This piece carries that simple confession:
Obedience is me saying I love You (Inspired by John 14:15)
A quiet reminder for those beginning or renewing their walk with God. Suitable as a baptism gift, or for members committing to a new life of following Christ.

Marking a Turning Point
For a new believer, or someone choosing to walk differently, this piece becomes more than a gift. It is designed to be placed where daily life unfolds, on a sofa or bed, in a quiet corner of prayer, in a room where Scripture is read, on an office chair, in the car.
It quietly affirms:
a life surrendered
a love expressed through obedience
a faith that is lived, not only spoken
A simple way for the church to honour a spiritual turning point—and to place a lasting reminder and encouragement within the home.

A Steady Reminder of God's Provision

Gentle Presence Through Weary Seasons
Every member will journey through seasons of weariness—carrying more than can be easily expressed, through illness, recovery, or quiet exhaustion.
This set of three pillows carries simple affirmations of God's care:
Powered through all seasons by prayers (Inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)
Sustained by His green pasture (Inspired by Psalm 23:2-3)
Renewed by His mercies every day (Inspired by Lamentations 3:22-23)
Together, they offer quiet reassurance even in the midst of weariness, that:
God hears
God provides
God renews
